POLICY AND TERMS
Thank you for choosing The Home Decor. We are committed to providing a high quality online shopping experience for our customers. It is, however, important that you understand some of our store policies before you submit your order to us. By submitting your order, you have agreed to the following terms and conditions.
Listing and Pricing: While we make every effort to keep our catalog the most accurate and up to date, there might still be missing products or inappropriate descriptions etc, resulting of human error. Therefore if you have a question about an item or you do not find a specific item you want, feel free to contact us, and we'll be more than happy to assist you in a promptly and timely manner.
Since many products come in multiple finishes and/or colors, for which each finish or color reflects a different price than the other, it's our policy to list this product firstly with the lowest price for that item, regardless of finish, available. All other finishes will update their price on display automatically when selecting that specific finish or color from the drop-down list or finish swatch. Always be aware of price changes when selecting a finish, and make sure to what finish the price displayed is related.
Still, the price for an item what you see on the thumbnails, does not reflect the price for that specific finish shown, but solely for the model of that item as described above.
Shipping: Currently we do ship only to a United States or Canadian address. Alaska and Hawaii included.
*Free Shipping: We offer periodically complementary shipping on selected items. This offer applies only to the lower 48 states. AK, HI, Canada and other countries will be charged a shipping fee.
Please remember: Overnight Shipping is only applicable to orders placed before 10:00 AM EST to actually get it on the next business day. Also, not all items are available for immediate delivery. We advise to call us prior to selecting an expedited Shipping Option.
When you order multiple items, please consider that you may receive your orders in a few shipments. Before contacting Customer Service please allow sufficient timing for items to arrive.
Cancellation: Once you submitted an order you can still cancel only it if it has not been shipped or processed with vendor, usually within 24 hours, by calling or emailing a cancellation request. We'll then credit the total amount back to your credit card account within 48-72 hours. Once shipped or entered shipping phase it can no longer be cancelled but it might be eligible for return.
All cancellations will be refunded less a transaction fee of 5% off your total order.
Note: We do not allow cancellations on certain items. We advise to contact us prior to placing an order to verify the sale conditions.
Easy Returns and Exchanges.
If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, return or exchange it for any specified reason, provided that you called or emailed us prior to returning your product, and we will then authorize your return. along with the following conditions.
Hardware and Accessories: Within 14 days of the shipping date, you can return merchandise to us for a refund (less 20 to 45% restocking fee, varies by manufacturer), or exchange for same or greater value.
Plumbing and Electrical Parts: are subject to typical damage and/or worn out marks due to installation or so, therefore, we can only accept it for return within 14 days of the order date, and only if the product has never been installed nor assembled.
Custom–ordered and custom–finished products, are made and/or assembled to your specifications, so it’s only returnable if it’s defective or damaged when you receive it.
Discontinued items or discontinued finishes are non-returnable.
Large plumbing fixtures: Such as Toilets, Heavy Sinks, Tubs, Whirlpools, Shower Bases etc. and Furniture are non returnable, unless defective upon arrival. Please read below.
It is your responsibility to pay all return freight charges unless otherwise authorized, such as defective products or wrong items shipped resulting of either ours or manufacturers fault.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Free-shipping items are credited less the original shipping charges associated with this order.
Please note: all returns will be credited less 20% to 45% restocking fee, and less shipping and handling charges if any.
Refused deliveries: Unless you are authorized to do so, please do not refuse a delivery as an alternative to cancel an order. Refused deliveries will, in most cases, not be treated as a cancellation or return and no credit will be issued.
Refund Method: If you paid with check, we’ll refund your purchase with a check (delivered to your address). If you paid by credit or debit card, we'll credit your account. Please allow 3-4 weeks for refund check to arrive to your address, and 7-10 business days for the credit to appear on your credit card account.
How and where to return: Simply return your purchase in saleable condition with the original packaging, including Universal Product Code (UPC) if any, manuals, parts, and your receipt or packing slip.
Just ship your return to our online store located at 199 Lee Ave. Brooklyn NY 11211. If you don't have your receipt your return is eligible only for a in–site credit. We carefully monitor our refunds and in some rare cases returns made without receipts may be refused.
Wrong or damaged item: The Home Decor must be notified within 2 days of receipt of merchandise for any shortage of quantities and dissatisfaction of terms or condition of sale. Without such notification, it will be considered that the customer has completely accepted the order as shipped and invoiced.
We will only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Any return without a valid authorization will be refused. Products that show signs of extended customer use or abuse will not be accepted back for credit.
Damaged shipment from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We will replace any product that has a defect in workmanship but obviously we cannot be responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier. Defects in workmanship are covered under the satisfaction guarantee or extended guarantee below.
The Home Decor can not be held responsible for pricing and picture error, or misleading product description and information. Such errors are resulting due to typically human error while adding hundreds of products to our database, it's virtually impossible to be perfect in all aspects. However, if you placed an order with an error we will notify you by email or phone (if you provided to us), upon your discretion it will be either cancelled or adjusted.
Images are used solely for display and review purposes and cannot be used to match any finish or color, since not all screens have the same color output.
Chargebacks: If you dispute a charge with your credit card company, you will be billed a chargeback fee of $35.00. Please note that we pay a fee when a chargeback is posted to our account, and this process also takes up additional time to reaffirm the transaction.
Therefore, if you are uncertain about a transaction, or have questions regarding cancellation/returns, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
Warranties: Many products carry a manufacturer extended warranty. Check the products copy block in the catalog or company website for extended warranty information. Some products come with one year, five year, ten year or lifetime warranty.
